The Company was formed in 1983 as a glass retailer covering the supply of all types of glass and mirrors, the supply and fitting of double glazed units and specialist orders. With a good customer base the Company moved to larger premises and continued to expand.
The Company has progressed to supplying large quantities of double glazed units, which conform to BS EN 1279 and also developed the supply & fitting of PVC, aluminium and timber windows, doors and conservatories. Using a high quality PVCu profile, fully reinforced with steel to take weight loading on the window, which means that all the hinges, handles and locking mechanisms are screwed into steel giving complete security. Our product is held in high regard by many organizations, one such being the Harlow Carr Botanical Gardens, Harrogate where you may see an example of a timber conservatory with a powder coated aluminium roof. We have recently received a Customer Care Merit Award for 99% Customer Satisfaction over the last year, demonstrating that the Company is meeting high quality standards.
In recent years the Company has developed a large contractual division carrying out work for multi-national companies and local authorities supplying and fitting PVC, aluminium and timber windows, doors and curtain walling to public buildings and schools.
Throughout the growth we still retain vigorous glass retailing business.
The two directors employ approximately 27 people including qualified machinists and fitters. The company is a long-standing member of the Glass and Glazing Federation and has achieved construction line status as well as being registered with FENSA to ensure all glazing is in compliance with the building regulations.
